The Feldenkrais Method is an educational system that uses gentle movement and guided attention to develop and refine self-awareness, which can help you learn new and more effective ways of moving. There are two ways to practice the method. In a group class, called Awareness Through Movement, you will be verbally guided by the instructor through a particular movement lesson. In a private session, called Functional Integration, the practitioner uses a gentle, non-invasive hands on approach, to suggest expanded possibilities for new movement patterns.
A whole body approach, individually designed to meet your particular needs. A session may include hands on techniques and exercise.
Reiki comes from the Japanese words "Rei" and "Ki" which means vital force energy that flows through all living things. During a session, the practitioner uses their hands lightly on the body with the intention of facilitating a balance in energy flow, resulting in relaxation and a greater sense of well being.
